Maternity Session Memory Book

It was fun putting together this sweet memory book of Rachael’s maternity session with her family!

Anticipation- a family maternity session { Iowa and Missouri photographer }

Preparing for the birth of a new child is always an exciting time in a family’s life. When you have two active boys and two parents that work it can be challenging to take time and just relish what you have *right now* with your family but still anticipating how your circle of love will expand when that new little one arrives.At most maternity sessions most of the images are on Mama to be, which of course is as expected. But Rachael really wanted to involve her two boys and Reese so it resulted in images that reflected just that. I was honored to capture some images for this adorable family in this outdoor evening maternity session in Liberty, Missouri. I always feel blessed to take portraits for my extended family and as Rachael is one of my dear nieces these pictures are special .

Sydney Back to School Mini { Iowa photographer }

Back to school mini session time again! That year flew by and I can’t believe how much Sydney grew and matured, we had a lot of fun chatting and doing her farm mini session. Here are some of the images from her back to school mini session on the farm.

grady + parents { Iowa baby and family photographer }

Grady had lots of smiles and curious expressions during his outdoor 8 month session. Once he got going he seemed to have a good time, he especially loved checking out the rowboat at Lake Arrowhead in Neola. We took some time to get some family portraits as well.

Family of Four { Iowa and Nebraska family photographer }

What a wonderful family to do a summer evening session for. Jennifer had everyone dressed so nicely and the kids were such a pleasure to photograph, catching some natural expressions as well as posed images. The time flew by so fast and I was amazed at how many images and different poses I got of this family of four

. Here are some of my favorites.
